Angela Bessa completed her BSc in Biology at the University of Porto, Portugal. She also holds a MSc in Human Evolution and Biology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her research interests includes mummification and ancestry estimation through geometric morphometrics. In 2018, she became a Visiting Researcher at Mummy Studies Field School, Italy. Angela is currently a PhD student in Forensic Anthropology, at the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
