Nuno Oliveira is an Associate Professor with Aggregation (Pharmacy, Toxicology) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicines. He holds a PhD in Pharmacy (Toxicology), MSc in Food Quality Control and Toxicology and a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Licenciatura). Specialist in Human Genetics (OF) and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT, EUROTOX). He has been interested in different aspects of Toxicology, including the study of the mechanisms of toxicity and DNA damage & repair induced by chemotherapeutic drugs and food/environmental genotoxic agents. He is also interested in the field of DNA repair inhibitors and SOD mimics. Integrated member of iMed.ULisboa since 2007.
