André RTS Araujo graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto, where he also obtained his European PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Analytical Chemistry). He is Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences of Institute Polytechnic of Guarda (Guarda, Portugal), since 2011. He is a member of the LAQV/REQUIMTE, Department of Chemical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy University of Porto (Porto, Portugal) and collaborator of UDI-IPG, Research Unit for Inland Development, Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (Guarda, Portugal). His research activities have been focused on the development of enzyme-based automated methodologies in different application fields, ranging from clinical to environmental ones. Currently, he works on the development, characterization and quality control of cosmeceuticals and in the development, optimization and validation of analytical methods for the determination of analytes in different matrices.
